ΠΑΝΕΛΛΗΝΙΑ ΟΜΟΣΠΟΝΔΙΑ ΣΥΛΛΟΓΩΝ ΣΑΡΑΚΑΤΣΑΝΑΙΩΝ

Θέμα: «Σαρακατσαναίοι: Πορεία και προοπτική στον χώρο και στον χρόνο»

Η Πανελλήνια Ομοσπονδία Συλλόγων Σαρακατσαναίων διοργανώνει το 3ο Διεθνές Επιστημονικό Συνέδριο με θέμα: «Σαρακατσαναίοι: Πορεία και προοπτική στον χώρο και στον χρόνο». Είναι γνωστό ότι η ιστορία και η παράδοση των Σαρακατσαναίων προβάλλονται από παγκόσμια, διεθνή και πανελλήνια Συνέδρια που διοργανώνονται για το θέμα αυτό, καθώς και από τα «Ανταμώματα» που διοργανώνει η Πανελλήνια Ομοσπονδία Συλλόγων Σαρακατσαναίων. Σημαντικό ρόλο διαδραματίζουν, επίσης, οι πρωτοβουλίες που αναλαμβάνουν οι επιμέρους τοπικοί Σύλλογοι των Σαρακατσαναίων.

Η ΠΟΣΣ, θεωρώντας ότι έχει υποχρέωση να γνωστοποιεί και να αναδεικνύει την παράδοση των Σαρακατσαναίων, αποφάσισε τη διοργάνωση του συγκεκριμένου Συνεδρίου, μελετώντας το παρελθόν και το παρόν των Σαρακατσαναίων και ανοίγοντας ένα παράθυρο αισιοδοξίας για το μέλλον. Είναι βέβαιο ότι ο γόνιμος διάλογος που θα αναπτυχθεί στο Συνέδριο, θα συμβάλει καθοριστικά στην ανάδειξη του σημαντικού ρόλου της Σαρακατσάνικης πολιτισμικής και πνευματικής κληρονομιάς.

3rd International Scientific Conference

Subject: “Sarakatsani:Progress and Prospect in Space and Time”

The Panhellenic Federation of Sarakatsani organizes the 3rd International Scientific Conference entitled “Progress and Prospect in Space and Time”. It is well-known that global, international and nationwide conferences as well as the Hellenic Federation of Sarakatsani due to the organization of the so-called “Antamomata” (Assemblies) contribute significantly to the emergence of both the history and the tradition of Sarakatsani. Moreover, the initiatives taken by the individual local Associations of Sarakatsani have a role of vital importance.

The Panhellenic Federation of Sarakatsani, being under the obligation to disclose and reveal information about the tradition of Sarakatsani, decided to hold this conference, studying both the past and the present of Sarakatsani and maintaining a sense of optimism and hopefulness for the future. It is certain that the fruitful dialogue, which will be developed at the Conference, will be instrumental in highlighting the important role of the Sarakatsan cultural and intellectual heritage.

Call for Participation

Anyone who is willing to participate with a presentation proposal in the 3rd International Scientific Conference entitled “Sarakatsani:Progress and Prospect in Space and Time” should submit a summary of his/her presentation proposal by the 30th of September 2015 at [email protected] or www.e-sarakatsanaioi.gr.

The length of the summary should not exceed the 350 characters in Times New Roman, 12 point and 1, 5 line spacing.

The content of the summary will be assessed by the Scientific Committee of the Conference and further information will be provided in due time.

The languages of the Conference and the Proposals are Greek and English.

The publication of the Conference Proceedings is expected printed and in electronic form.
